February has Valentine’s Day, when we celebrate love.  Let’s show our love, fraternalism, creativity, and generosity by doing a fund-raiser to benefit the Third District Charitable Trust.  Pete Hanson, Third District Counselor, oversees the Trust, which helps members in the Third District who need some temporary support from financial distress.

We can show our support for the Third District Charitable Trust by creating themed baskets to be auctioned off at the February meeting.  Love to bake?  Make a basket with cooking items or baked goods.  Love the movies?  Make a movie night basket.  Love to celebrate?  Make a wine and cheese basket.  Love to read?  Make a book lovers basket.  Love to garden?  Make a basket with seed packets and gardening tools.  How about a game night basket, a Lego basket, a graphic novel basket, or a Valentine’s Day hearts and flowers and chocolate basket?  This is an opportunity to have some fun, admire one another’s creativity, and demonstrate our generosity by helping fellow Sons of Norway members in need
