Work up an appetite for ice cream or dinner with a visit to Oak Hill Reservation to walk along the edge of Tophet Chasm and up to Lookout Rock for a view of Boston–on Sunday, October 21. This hike has medium steep trails with some rocks and roots, but the trails are wide and open. This walk is suitable for young hikers accompanied by an adult. Google or navigate to “Tophet Chasm”. This will land you at the trailhead on Oak Hill Road. We will start at 2:00 and will be back at Kimball’s Farm for ice cream by 4:00. Bring mosquito spray and wear sturdy outdoor shoes/boots.
