At the May cultural meeting, Lodge member Mike Arnum, a
Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist (MCH), will give a
presentation about creating a garden space that is reminiscent
of Norway. By using a variety of plants that are commonly
grown there, or are native to Scandinavia, or by using
techniques and ornaments to accent your garden, you too can
have “a little piece of Norway in your own back yard.” Arnum
will detail the Norwegian approach to gardening and explore
Scandinavian garden design (does it exist?), based on his
travels and study in the country.
Protocol for entering the building: You must show proof of
vaccination before entering the Nordic Hall. Masks must be
worn.
If you are not vaccinated and want to attend the meeting virtually, the Zoom link will be
available by 6 PM at the lodge website: norumbegasofn.org.
