SUMMARY:November Cultural Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Susan Hill\, New England Ski for Light president\,\nwill talk about the origins of guided skiing for blind and visually\nimpaired participants\, and how it was brought from Norway to the US\nwhere it is practiced across the country. Susan’s presentation will\ninclude showing equipment\, demonstrating techniques for skiers\, and\ndescribing how to become a guide. With a weekend outing in\nCraftsbury\, VT\, Jan 5-8 scheduled\, as well as local events at Weston\nSki Track\, members will be invited to become volunteer guides.
