Maine Nordmenn (Satellite) cultural gathering

Maine Nordmenn member, Eric Lund. will be presenting the impact of Scandinavian settlements on English and Scottish History.
Doors open at 1:00 pm. Soup and bread will be provided but please bring a desert to share.
Eric recently returned from a trip to Scotland and Northern England where he saw frequent reminders of the extend to which Norwegian and Danish invaders occupied territory in this locations. In this illustrated talk he will describe the extent to which these Norse settlers left a long term mark on English and Scottish culture.
Eris taught about many aspects of European history at St. Olaf College in Minnesota until his retirement in 2015. He moved to Maine in 2018.
