The May Cultural Meeting will feature local artist and author Lois Andersen as our guest speaker.  Lois will be talking about her recently published children’s book “Baddas Buddy” and about life in the early Norwegian colony in Brooklyn.

Lois is a painter, illustrator, and teacher for more than 25 years to children and adults in private schools and community programs.  Born in Brooklyn, NY she studied at Pratt Institute, the Arts Students League of NYC, and at the Statenskunstakademi in Oslo.  Her studio is located at the Umbrella Community Arts Center in Concord, MA.
