Susan Hill, New England Ski for Light president,
will talk about the origins of guided skiing for blind and visually
impaired participants, and how it was brought from Norway to the US
where it is practiced across the country. Susan’s presentation will
include showing equipment, demonstrating techniques for skiers, and
describing how to become a guide. With a weekend outing in
Craftsbury, VT, Jan 5-8 scheduled, as well as local events at Weston
Ski Track, members will be invited to become volunteer guides.
