The lodge Christmas party will be held on Friday, December 7th in the Nordic Hall at the Scandinavian Cultural Center.  We’ll have our usual wonderful Christmas cookies baked by members (ALL OF US), a visit from the “julenisse” to hand out the gifts, “riskrem” with the hidden almond, and dancing around the Christmas tree to the music of “The House Band”.  “The House Band” will be made up of any Norumbega musician who would like to join the core members, SAMspill, to play the traditional Norwegian Christmas tunes we use to dance around the tree.  If you would like to be part of “The House Band”, let Luana know (lmj1705@comcast.net) and she’ll get you the music.  Any instrument is welcome.

If you want to participate in the gift exchange, bring a gift worth no more than $10 and put it in the boxes marked “Him”, “Her”, or “Either”.   The gift exchange is optional.
