Norumbega Lodge is offering a trifecta of options for you to get together socially since we haven’t been meeting since June. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon on August 12th.

First, you have the opportunity to work up an appetite for ice cream and/or dinner with a visit to Oak Hill Reservation in Littleton, MA to walk along the edge of Tophet Chasm and up to Lookout Rock for a view of Boston. This hike has medium steep trails with some rocks and roots, but the trails are wide and open. This walk is suitable for young hikers accompanied by an adult. Google or navigate to Tophet Chasm. This will land you at the trailhead on Oak Hill Road. We will start on the trail at 3:30 for the approximately hour and a half hike.. Bring mosquito spray, water and wear sturdy outdoor shoes/boots. Secondly, whether or not you hike to Tophet Chasm you can join Lodge Members for dinner at Kimball Farm on the Littleton / Westford line.  Kimball Farm offers a wide variety of food options from seafood to BBQ choices.  Karen and Pete Hanson will meet you there at 5:30 pm.  You can look for us under the food tent.     https://kimballfarm.com/

Thirdly, if your not interested in dinner you can still opt to join us simply for their famous ice cream choices.  Be forewarned that their ice cream serving sizes are very generous and might be all the dinner you need.

.So there you have it.  Three options to choose from as there is something for everyone.  Enjoy any one of the three options to get together or better yet, participate in all three.
