These questions and more will hopefully be answered at our November cultural meeting.  Pete Hanson will be sharing from his experience of having traveled to the historic site with several other Sons of Norway members.  This site has generated a number of theories and surprising explanations as historians try their best to interpret the Viking era writings called sagas.  Ultimately, the theories and discussions bring into play our own local Boston area and other parts of New England.  Did the Vikings land in New England over 400 years before Christopher Columbus?
