On Sunday, April 28th, 3:00 p.m., we will have a special meeting at the Unitarian Memorial Church, 102 Green Street, in Fairhaven, MA, to meet and welcome the members of what was originally Den Norske Foreningen and later became Dovre Lodge. Dovre Lodge merged with Norumbega at the beginning of this year, just before the 140th anniversary of that organization. We want to welcome our new members from Dovre and help acknowledge and celebrate the long history of their lodge, the oldest in the Third District.

We hope as many members as possible will be able to come to the celebration. it will be an informal gathering with coffee, cake, and other goodies, and will give us all an opportunity to get to know one another. If you think you’ll be able to come, please

let Luana know (vicepresident@norumbegasofn.org) by Friday, April 19th, so she can make sure there will be enough tables and chairs (and cake) to accommodate everyone. And if you would like to contribute something to the dessert table, we won’t say no.
