17th of May Family Picnic

May is not really that far off and we all look forward to the annual 17th of May family picnic, which will be on Saturday, May 18th. It’s a big event and draws not only lodge members but lots of other families from the Norwegian community in Boston. There is a short parade, open faced sandwiches, hot dogs, and field games for the children.
Members: In order for it to be a success, we need volunteers. There are lots of things to volunteer to do and most of the jobs are not that demanding. A sign-up sheet will be available at both the April and May cultural meetings. It feels good to contribute to the success of such a popular event so make sure you sign up as soon as possible to snag the best job.
